Kim Schmidt (American, 1999) is a photographic artist from Northern California. Schmidt recently graduated from California State University, Chico as a candidate for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography with minors in Art History and Environmental Science. Her photographic work explores concepts such as politics, identity, and the body through the use of Polaroids and fabric. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Northern California Art in Chico, CA, 1078 Gallery in Chico, CA, and the Jacki Headley University Art Gallery in Chico, CA.
